Summer Internship
Hello everyone,
This Blog is to share my experience as a Web Developer Intern at SpinCorp for the duration of 2 months which started from June 5th 2022 till August 4th 2022.
I would like to thank SpinCorp for providing me with such a wonderful chance and for constantly helping and making me learn new things every day which helped in enhancing my skills while working on such an amazing projects.
Introduction
Web development is a broad field that encompasses web application design, implementation, and maintenance. It can include everything from simple websites to complex web-based applications. During this Web Development Internship we had three stages which included training and applying. It included developing code, writing unit tests, fixing bugs, and participating in code reviews. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about web development best practices and gain exposure to the industry.
Working
In stage 1, We were trained thoroughly on front-end technologies such as Html/Css, Javascript, Bootstrap and React.JS. The training and tasks were to determine the basic understanding of front-end web designing and its various components by designing beautiful web layouts. Making REAL life web application using cutting-edge technologies which were responsive and easily accessible. We also implemented CSS frameworks including Bootstrap 5 and semantic UI.
The projects included a beautiful animated todo list application, a blog application from scratch We designed landing pages, cloned UberEats app, created a scorekeeper web page and a weather app using API.
In stage 2, We were trained on back-end technologies focusing on Node.Js combining with Express, MongoDB. In this stage, we got the chance to create a complicated yelp-like application along with using postman to test and monitor APIs.
Here, we also learned ins and outs of HTTP requests, user authentication, creating our own node modules, bug testing and fixing along with updating code repository using GitBash.
In stage 3, we worked with a team of web developers and learned from them where we also had the chance to work with clients and learn about their needs which provided us with great industry exposure and practical and soft skills such as communication, team management, etc.
We learned the understanding of complex web apps with multiple models and data associations. We deployed our applications and worked with cloud databases. We handled real client applications and their needs where the good performers were also awarded with the stipend.

Overall, It’s been a great journey which enhanced both my technical and soft abilities while working with a great team to solve real-life problems, exploring new technologies and working on MERN stack development. The experience has been extremely fulfilling and highly motivating.
